Brad Mann:

Brad has over 12 years experience in the HVAC industry prior to becoming a certified HERS Energy Rater. Owner and operator of an established energy consulting company providing services as the lead Residential Building Performance Trainer and Quality Assurance Designee for RSNET provider service, assisting with project engineering for design build jobs and building failure analysis. Brad has extensive hands on experience conducting energy audits and training of energy auditors including: State of Michigan for Energy Star Homes, RESNET certified rater trainings, City of Grand Rapids, weatherization agencies and utility companies. He is certified by BPI as a Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, Multi Family Building Analyst and HVAC Professional, BOC certification and has an Associate in HVAC. Brad is a technical consultant on the BetterBuildings for Michigan program.

T. Edward Sellers:

Accomplished Entrepreneur, Energy Manager and Corporate Executive with over 25 years of turnaround and start-up leadership, energy conservation and power consulting experience, government nuclear contracting experience, community service and program and business management experience rising from engineering management to leading a multi-site, multi-million dollar steel company. Provided leadership in energy management and conservation with some of the largest chemical manufacturing companies in the nation. Also extensive experience in the management of engineers and inspectors in a nuclear facility for the Department of Energy as a government contractor. Gary Bazzett:

More than 32 years in the residential and light commercial-building industry. Vast experience in timber frame, timber frame hybrid, structural insulated panel, super insulated envelope and conventional stick framing. Specializing in high-end cabinetry, finish and trim carpentry, job-site management and crew supervision. Trained in MIOSHA and insurance job-site safety. Extensive experience in automobile repair and racing. Licenses and certificates obtained: State of Michigan Residential Builder; State of Michigan Master Mechanic Automobile; State of Michigan Master Mechanic Motorcycle; BPI Certified Energy Analyst; BPI Certified Envelope Professional. Pursuing a life-long interest of energy management in residential construction

Mac McCabe:

Mac is a certified Building Analyst Professional with BPI and has been conducting residential and commercial energy efficiency audits for over 3 years. Mac has over 12 years of experience as a general contractor and certification in American Society of Home Inspectors, Residential Energy Service Network (RESNET), National Energy Audit Tool (NEAT) and BPI Building Analyst. Mac is the current program manager for all Michigan Saves, BetterBuildings, LIEEF and other quality assurance programs for BSES. Mac has conducted multiple ASHRAE Level I and Level II audits for office facilities and multiple use facilities including nursing homes and medical offices. Mac has also served in executive positions as Vice President of Operations for construction material companies. Mac has a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Central Michigan University.

Eric Hunting:

Eric has over 30 years experience in the construction industry including residential, commercial and industrial. Eric is a licensed builder in the state of Michigan and has multiple certifications as a BPI Building Analyst, Envelope Specialist and Whole House Air Leakage Controller. Eric’s extensive knowledge with retro fit techniques makes him an asset as an instructor and quality assurance inspector.

Leo Vallone:

Leo has been a construction contractor specializing in interior and exterior air sealing and weatherization methods for over 15 years. Leo is a certified BPI Building Analyst and Whole House Air leakage controller. Leo has extensive project management experience in the construction industry working with sub contractors and suppliers. Leo is an instructor for BSA and provides quality assurance services for BSES.
